Australia and New Zealand, ‘Get the f*** up’, Grammy Award winning New York MC Pharoahe Monch returns this September for a seven date tour.

Returning for the first time since 2014 the lauded MC brings his faithful DJ Boogie Blind and irreverent hypeman Cam back to wow audiences down under with shows across Australian capital cities, Auckland and the Wave Rock Weekender festival in regional WA.

Widely regarded as one of the best lyrical mc’s in the game, Pharoahe Monch’s creative motivation and output is consistent even after 20 years on the scene. Praised by the likes of Eminem for always being ahead of his time, his 1998 highly touted solo debut, Internal Affairs, crafted one of the greatest underground Hip-Hop albums ever; featuring the crowd moving hit, ‘Simon Says’, which became a monster single, propelling Monch to international success. Pharoahe has since released four studio albums and collaborated with the likes of Mos Def, Nate Dogg, Talib Kweli, Jill Scott, Justin Timberlake, Aussie hip-hop royalty Hilltop Hoods as well as Australian producer powerhouse M-Phases, just to name a few.

Rolling in glowing reviews for his 2016 US and UK dates, Pharoahe is coming in hot following a string of successful festival appearances across the globe and ‘Simon Says’ get a ticket before they sell out.

Frazey Ford | Australian Tour | November 2017
Frazey Ford

Following on from a huge year of international touring in 2015 after the successful release of her record Indian Ocean, Canada’s Frazey Ford and her band The Quiet Revolution will be gracing Australian soils for Mullum Music Fest in November 2017

Though her latest critically-lauded album Indian Ocean came out late 2014, the former Be Good Tanyas vocalist recently caught the viral attention of everyone from NPR Music to Buzzfeed to Rhythms Magazine Australia with her feisty music video for stand-out album track “Done”, which not only showcased her dance moves and sassy strut, but also Frazey’s fabulous jumpsuit collection.

“Frazey Ford lets fly on her latest single ‘Done’. Lifted from her second solo album, Indian Ocean, ‘Done’ is a breakup song with attitude. And Ford has made a film clip to match.” – Rhythms Magazine (AUS)
