Semaphore Music Festival – Full Line-up Announced with Liam Gerner, Reilly Fitzalan and Pat Tierney

Semaphore Music Festival proudly presents three days of fun in the sun plus four electric nights with over 80 acts appearing in venues around Semaphore. 2016 is the 12th year that SMF supports SA live music on the beach.

Kicking off Friday 30 September and winding down Monday 3rd October, the Grand Finale of the weekend will see Indigenous singer/songwriter Archie Roach performing songs from his new album Let Love Rule in an intimate show at St Bede’s Church, supported by Corey Theatre.

Living legend, Dave Graney and the Coral Snakes will revisit their totally hip award winning album Night of the Wolverine at twilight on Sunday 2 October. They will be joined by Blue Mountain’s King Curly who present their critically acclaimed Night Parrots record for a rare show of Australiana song writing. Gates open 11am and close 9pm with 15 acts performing during the day for only $15 presale.

Friday 30 September, Opening Night of the SMF16, we salute this year’s ARBA Memphis Blues Challenge winners The Associates, who share the stage with last year’s representatives Lazy Eye at iconic blues venue, the Semaphore Workers Club. Over at the RSL, Rohan Powell presents Songs of The Highwaymen with One Horse Townreforming for one night only at the Semaphore Hotel.

Local indie rock band Grenadiers will headline the RAWKfest on Saturday 1 October with 15 SA acts including God God Dammit Dammit, Nakatomi and a cast of contemporary indie rock and electronic acts providing a refreshing alternative to the AFL Grand Final for only $15 Presale at TryBooking.com

Celebrate with comrades at the Semaphore Workers Club with inner city Sydneysider darlings The Stepfords and The Streamliners, or check out Celtic rockers The Borderers at the RSL.

Eleven Semaphore Songs composers will shine on Monday 3rd October. The stellar line-up of emerging SA singer/songwriters includes Thom Lion, Donnarumma, Ollie English, Jimmy Meegan, The Coconut Kids, The Bitter Darlings, Frankie Starling, James Hickey, Jen Lush, Trent Worley, and Kylie Brice. The SA songwriters will be mentored by producer of Jimmy Little’s Messenger album and singer of Karma County, Brendan Gallagher.

On Monday the Exeter Hotel will host Rockabilly Mayhem with a Classic Car Show and Shine and Pin-Ups Parade. The Lincolns & The Rustlers will play the closing event on the Palais Hotel Deck.

The Foreshore Reserve will be jumping with boutique brewers and wine makers trading alongside a delicious selection of gourmet food vendors. There will be sideshows for kids plus a marketplace with artisans presenting their wares, and the Art Battle Spectacular will give the event added kudos.

PS Music Group artists, Reilly Fitzalan, Liam Gerner and Pat Tierney will all appear at the 2016 Semaphore Music Festival.
